As I'm writing this, people around the world in many different countries are out protesting for many reasons. Here in my country it is because of ICE n’ Stump and everything they are doing in the world. We want it to stop. In Iran there is an internet blackout, and we don’t know much of what is happening there. Venezuela is not wanting the US to take over their government. These are the truths.
The truth is that the vast majority of people around the world don’t want this.
Those that do are like NPC’s from a video game who are just programmed to react accordingly - they don’t think for themselves. Humans are easy to program, but like Bob said, “you can’t fool all the people all the time”. We live in a time where humans have been using LSD for the last 75+ years, and that has led to millions of people that are not inside the matrix. They got a moment on the outside to look in. They question their reality. Granted not all these people see eye to eye, but for the most part people have become disillusioned with the traditional secular view of reality. There are too many people that have had this experience and shared it in some way with the rest of the world. Since the 60’s awakening, rebelling, and transcending have been part of the Pop Cultural landscape in storytelling through lyrics, poems, prose, and script. In fact you can trace it all the way back to ancient religions like Buddhism and Christianity. Jesus has acts of rebellion in his story, and many people are aware of this and know how it translates to morality.
The old tradition of Jesus backfires on itself when people see through the lies from the Politicians, Churchs, and Priests.
The thing is now people don’t need LSD
- they have gotten their revelations through the internet enough to know better. As Timothy Leary said, “the internet is the new LSD.” Information has led to revelation, and people are more awake and aware than ever before. We don’t see it because there hasn’t been a calling for it until now. Stupidity has been the thing most seen in a world of funniest videos. Idiots are good at getting attention as most of us shake our heads asking WTF? Idiocracy has become a reality, but it is only one aspect of reality - it is not everything that is happening in the world.
The reality is that we are making amazing breakthroughs in all subjects. There is good news and good things that people are doing. The sun will outshine the dark. Let us not forget to discuss the slime of reality in order to remain neutral on our perspectives.
I was recently gifted the book SLIME: An Elemental Imaginary by Simon C. Estok. This book brought together many subjects I have felt about slime into words and information I didn’t have so I’m really thankful to have read it. I will write a separate blog post with a full review. Here are a couple sentences from the back cover
